About Me:  I am a Professor of Philosophy, in the Department of Philosophy at Saint Louis University.

My area of research specialization is medieval philosophy, but I have general research and teaching interests in metaphysics, mind, and philosophy of religion. My research explores later-medieval discussions of topics in metaphysics and the philosophy of mind, with special focus on William Ockham's contribution to these topics. These days, I'm working on (1) medieval theories of consciousness and self-knowledge,  and (2) questions surrounding Ockham's metaphysical (and meta-metaphysical) commitments.
